To the Yost extended family-Doc was one of a kind. His influence on those of us who passed through the halls of LeMoyne is immeasurable. He was a fair, consistent, caring leader. His love of golf gave us a chance to connect each year at the club to which I belong at our annual Member Guest. I will miss him and will always remember the lessons he taught me and the many dolphins with which he crossed paths.

Dear Michael, the memories of our times with you & Karen, John & Sue, & Norma & I at the "Cuse" tailgate parties, dinners, the State Fair, etc., will be etched in the memory bank of mind forever. "Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end." The laughter & joy we all shared, and now the sorrow & tears are all part of God's Plan. So rest assured, that we will meet again, and share that laughter & joy in God's promised land. Go Cuse....."Lest we forget!" Love, Richard & Norma

Doc Yost was amazing and truly touched my life at LeMoyne College. He loved watching us LeMoyne Dolphins run the court and never missed a home game. He was loved by many.

Rest in peace Doc. Thanks for going easy on us when we were out of line, and thanks for stopping by for a beer on Dolphy Day. You must have known before we did that all those goofy teens who passed through LeMoyne would turn out o.k.

Doc Yost was a giant on the LeMoyne campus. He was one of us. He was genuine, compassionate and humble. Yes, I sat across from him at the table when my buddies and I stepped out of line but we knew we would be treated fairly and he did give us another chance. He will be sorely missed but long remembered. Well done Doc !

We were both born in July (30 for me) of 1943, both members of the CFA
class of 1961 but I was not nearly as athletically
accomplished. That was obvious in many ways
including the times we played golf.
While still college students, several of us traveled
from Corning to New York City for a weekend of summer
leisure. Mike and I were also both in the wedding
of mutual friend Jerry Wheaton (and Carolyn White)
in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
And it appears our final resting location will be the
same Cemetery in Corning, NY. I will be joining my late
parents and brother.
