Helen T. Crozier

Helen T. Crozier of Painted Post, NY, born January 25, 1921, passed away on February 9, 2021 at the age of 100.  We recently celebrated her 100th, and she was extremely grateful for all the calls, cards and floral arrangements.  Helen made it to 100 for Croz, and her journey was done.

She was the daughter of Patrick and Jessie (Tillie) (Force) Tracey.  Helen was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Roswell L. Crozier, Jr., her siblings Evelyn (Boo) Lynn Carpenter, William (Mike) Tracey, Francis (Shotty) (Beverly) Tracey and Carole Tracey.  She was also predeceased by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bob and Alice Chase, Donald and Fran Crozier and Norman Crozier.  She is survived by her sons Kent (Cheryl), Michael (Carole Stamp), grandson, Michael (Anne) Crozier, great granddaughter, Holly Crozier and granddaughters Katharine and Tressa Crozier.  Helen is survived by her sister-in-law Betty Crozier.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews – all of whom she considered special.  She appreciated all the calls and visits from all of them especially after the passing of her beloved Croz.

Helen and Croz met in high school and were friends for over 80 years.  They were married on February 21, 1942 at Grace United Methodist Church in Corning, New York.  They celebrated 77 years of marriage before Croz passed.  They were a model for all of us up until the end.  Helen graduated from CFA and Gregg Business School.  She loved seeing the world and traveling with Croz while he was in the United States Air Force and stationed at various bases around the world.  Her favorite station was Guam.  She also enjoyed her time in Japan and France.

Helen was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and Honey to great granddaughter Holly.
