William M. ""Mike"" Naida Obituary (1952 - 2021)

William M. "Mike" Naida, age 68, of Corning, NY died on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Steuben Center in Bath, NY. Mike was born on October 14, 1952 in Corning to Stanley and Veronica (Sims) Naida. He was a graduate of West High School and was a property manager for EDC Management. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, but he will always be remembered for his prize-winning pumpkins. He is survived by his two daughters, Michelle (Scott Bradley) Naida of Corning and Megan (Corey May) Naida of Alpine, NY; granddaughter, Brianne; 9 brothers and sisters: Sam (Sally) Naida of Buckley, WA, Judy Atwell of Maryland, Nancy (Steve) Dygert of Weatherford, TX, Christine Heverly of Corning, Anne Naida of Elmira, NY, Scott (Vicki) Naida of Painted Post, NY, Stephen Naida of Sealy, TX, Maureen (Kevin) Fish of Painted Post, and Tom (Karen) Naida of Sealy, TX; sister-in-law, Irene Naida of Corning; and many nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Ellen "Sissy" Naida; brother, Brian Naida; and a brother-in-law, Norman "Limey" Heverly. It was his wishes that there be no public services. Mike's care was entrusted to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
