Wallace O. Butler

Wallace O. Butler, age 82, of Corning, NY died Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Corning Centers. Wally was born on February 18, 1933 in Wellsboro, PA to Lorre and Naomi (Burrell) Butler. He had been employed by Conrail for several years. He liked to play cards, checkers, and doing yard work. He is survived by three sisters, Linda Moore of Horseheads, Ellen Teeter of Corning, and Ethel Wilson of Corning; two brothers, Lorre Butler of Rochester and Gordon Butler of Corning; step son, Barry Abbey of Florida; several nieces and nephews. Wally was predeceased by his brother Donald Butler. A memorial service will be held on Friday July 17th at 7:00 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street, Corning, NY. Burial will be in Coopers Plains Cemetery.
