Thomas D. Teemley, 74, of Ocala, FL passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in Ocala, Florida.\n\n\n\n\nHe was born in Montour Falls, NY on June 25, 1937 and was the son to the late Lewis R. and Frieda (Nichols) Teemley. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He graduated from Watkins Glen High School and Simmons School of Embalming and Mortuary Science. Thomas was a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church. He was an avid Florida Gator fan. He enjoyed cooking, playing golf, playing cards, and volunteering at his church. He was a member of the Elks Club, Mason, Eastern Star, Ocala Gator Basketball Tip-Off Club, and Euchre Club. \n\n\n\n\nHe is survived by his wife Bonnie Jean Teemley of Ocala; daughter Melissa (Paul) Homin; son Lewis (Pam) Teemley; brother James (Nancy) Teemley; sister Irene (Jack) Nelson; and three grandchildren Karyn Teemley, Morgan and Meredith Homin. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Jeanne and Kate; and a brother Bruce.\n\n\n\n\nFriends may call on Monday, June 11th from 10 until 11 AM at Haughey Funeral Home, 216 E. First Street, Corning, NY where funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev.
