Theresa Ann (Stinson) Hatch "Sue" passed away quietly at home.\n\n\nShe was born August 18, 1952, to Abel and Marian (Travis) Stinson in Bath, NY. She grew up in the Bradford/Savona area and graduated from Bradford Central School in 1970.\n\n\nTheresa married Richard P. Hatch in 1971 and they resided in the Corning area until his death in 1990. She moved to North Carolina in 1994 and returned to the Corning area where she lived with her four-legged friends, Crackers and Keycat. She was employed by various convenient stores until her disability in 2007.\n\n\nShe is survived by very close friends, Vicci and Walter Gilbert and their family; brothers: William (Cathy) Walters of Campbell, NY, Robert (Lisa) Stinson, and Paul Stinson of Bradford, NY; sisters: Sharon Walters, Ellen (Herb) VanLuvanee, and Barbara (Rodney) Bulkley of Campbell, NY, Deborah Stinson of Penn Yan, NY, Janett (David) Mendez of Bradford, NY; brother-in-law, Michael Taylor of Georgia; and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.\n\n\nShe was predeceased by her husband, Richard in 1990; son, Christopher James in 1987; brother, John in 1985; sister, Donna Taylor in 2011; her parents, Bob and Marian Stinson; maternal grandparents, Wright and Helen Travis; and paternal grandparents, Leonard and Elouise Hough.\n\n\nAt Theresa's request, there will be no calling hours and burial will be at the convenience of the family in Rural Home Cemetery in Big Flats, NY. \n\n\nDonations may be made in her memory to your local Humane Society.\n\n\nTheresa's family has entrusted her care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
