Tawnja Furman Obituary (1960 - 2021)

Tawnja A. Furman, 61, of Corning, NY passed away on November 26, 2021 at Guthrie Corning Hospital. Born on June 2, 1960 in Campbell, NY, she was the daughter of Jack and Nancy Chamberlain. Tawnja was a graduate of Campbell-Savona High School. She was employed for 20 years at Tops Market in Big Flats Consumer Square as a service desk associate and cashier. Tawnja enjoyed being with family, friends, and gardening. She is survived by her mother, Nancy, of Campbell; son, Eric Chamberlain, of Corning; daughter, Allison Furman, of Big Flats, NY; brother, Bob (Tammy) Chamberlain, of GA; several nieces and nephews. Tawnja was preceded in death by her father, Jack, and brothers, Butch and John Chamberlain. There will be a memorial service announced at a later date. Tawnja's family has entrusted her care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
