Shirley Ann Iannarilli Obituary (1945 - 2015)

Shirley Ann Iannarilli, age 69, of Corning, NY, died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY surrounded by her family. Shirley was born on December 18, 1945 in Corning to Truman and Margaret (Knowles) Carson. She was a graduate of West High School and worked for many years at Corning Glass Works as a machine operator. Her hobbies and interests were sewing, crafts, loved doing Sudoku puzzles, and making jewelry. Her survivors include her daughter, Maria (Craig Hopkins) Carrier of Van Etten, NY and her son, Franco Iannarilli of Corning; a sister, Beverly Brown of Colombia, SC; half-brother, Hugh Knowles; two grandchildren, Callista and Christopher Carrier; uncle, Owen Knowles; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday June 28th at 2:00 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 East First Street in Corning with Pastor Gary Hart officiating. A reception will be held immediately following at Fran's Landing, 996 Addison Rd., Painted Post, NY. Memorial donations may be made in Shirley's name to Chemung County Humane Society & SPCA, 245 State Route 352, Elmira, NY 14903-7933. Shirley's family entrusted her care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
