Robert Anthony "Tony" Keller Obituary (1926 - 2014)

Robert "Tony" Keller, age 88, of Coopers Plains, NY died Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Bath VA Medical Center. Tony was born on July 17, 1926 in Corning to Anthony and Dorothy (Button) Keller. Tony was a graduate of CFA and Niagara University. He was a Veteran of World War II, Army, and served in the European Theatre. Tony worked for Corning Glass Works in general production at the main plant and pressware. He was a communicant of All Saints Parish and a life member of the VFW. He is survived by his sisters, Florence Troll and Dorothy (Jim) Mahoney; a brother, Richard (Anna) Keller of Coopers Plains; several nieces and nephews. Tony was preceded in death by his sister, Priscilla Davis. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, January 6th from 3 until 4 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street, Corning where funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Corning. Memorial donations may be made in Tony's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, National Processing Center, PO Box 758541, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8541. Tony's family entrusted his care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
