Randy C. Maynard, age 60, of Painted Post, NY died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. \n\n\nRandy was born on February 7, 1956 in Corning to Dale and Iva (Wheeler) Maynard. He was a graduate of West High School. He worked for the Town of Erwin highway department for several years. He married Sharon Harndon on July 1, 1983 in Painted Post. He was a member of Big Flats Wesleyan Church, and enjoyed hunting, motorcycle riding, and spending time with his grandchildren. \n\n\nHe is survived by his wife Sharon; daughter, Nicole (Dennis) McKibbin of Erin, NY; two sons, Ryan (Kiley) Maynard of Lindley and Bryan (Chelsea) Maynard of Corning; mother Iva Maynard of Lamoka Lake; sister, Bonnie (Jim) VanAlstine of Campbell; brother, Steve Maynard of Gilroy, CA; grandchildren, Nicholas, Nolan, Emalyn, Dylan, Ryley, Izabelle, and Blake; several nieces and nephews; his dogs, Lucy, Charlie, Effie, and Sasha. Randy was predeceased by his brothers, Ron and Jerry Maynard.\n\n\nA graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 16th, at 10 AM at Coopers Plains Cemetery, corner of Meads Creek Road and Route 415, with Pastor Don Sauter officiating. \n\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to www.pkdcure.org for polycystic kidney disease.\n\n\nRandy's family entrusted his care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
