Mary E. Mullaney

Mary E. Mullaney, 79, of Bath, NY, passed away on August 17, 2022, at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital.

Mary was born on October 5, 1942, in Wadsworth, OH, and was the daughter of John and Mary (Mulleneax) Harvey.

Mary graduated from Chippewa High School in Doylestown, OH where she was a member of the high school marching band. After graduation, Mary joined the United States Army, and she was proud to serve as a midwife in labor and delivery for most of her term.

On March 2, 1962, in Okinawa, Japan, Mary married William F. Mullaney who preceded her in death on January 1, 2002. In her nearly 40 years with Bill, Mary spent many years working as a nurse's aide, and taking care of the adult developmentally disabled at Pathways. Mary enjoyed crocheting, knitting, boating, spending time with her husband and friends at the VFW and the American Legion, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters: Christine Mullaney of Las Vegas, NV, Colleen (Aric) Arnold of Corning, NY, and Cindy (Kris Scott) Evans of Beaver Dams, NY; grandchildren, Patrick Lavey, Stephanie Mullaney, Raeleen Mullaney, Courtney (Mark) Simon, Thomas Lyon, Anthony Evans, and Briannah Evans; great-grandchildren: Giovanni, Adreanna, Ariella, Carlin, Penelope, and Ronald; and many nieces and nephews and in-laws.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her many siblings; husband, William Sr.; son, William Jr.; and son-in-law, Milton Evans.
