Marcia Mae Robie, age 76, of Robie Road in Savona, NY, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Guthrie Corning Hospital.\n\nMarcia was born on June 24, 1939 in Tioga, PA to William and Alvena (Smith-Blencowe) Howe. She went to school at Williamson High School in PA. She moved to Bath, NY and worked at WestingHouse. She married James Robie on July 2, 1960 in Tioga, PA. She worked in the kitchen and was a school bus driver for Savona and Campbell schools for many years.\n\nMarcia loved to Bowl, make various crafts which included sewing, reading, doing puzzles, playing cards and watching game shows. She was proud of each of her Children, Grandkids and Great Grandkids.\n\nMarcia attended North Baptist Church in Corning. She never missed an opportunity to share her love for God.\n\nShe is survived by her husband James; daughter, Juanita (Clay) Ross-Boren of Payson, UT; son, Kenneth (Sally) Robie of Gwinn, MI; brother, David (Darlene) Howe of North Fort Myers, FL; five grandchildren and two step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lucy (Mike) Mayer, Edward (Marjorie) Robie, and Henry Robie; several nieces and nephews. Marcia was predeceased by her daughter, Sheila Finan-Campbell; sister, Dianna Simpson; son-in-law, Joseph Finan; brother-in-law, Clinton Robie; and by her sister-in-law, Katherine Robie.\n\nCalling hours will be held on Thursday, July 16th from 1 - 3 pm at North Baptist Church, 127 Sly Avenue in Corning where funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Gary DeHaas officiating. Burial will be in Seamans Cemetery in Savona.\n\nMarcia's family entrusted her care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
