Lucille M. Zine Obituary (1927 - 2014)

Lucille M. Zine, age 87. Of West Hill Terrace in Painted Post, NY died Monday April 21, 2014 at Corning Hospital surrounded by the love of her family and dear friends. Lucille was born on February 23, 1927 in Hazleton, PA to Joseph and Mildred (Correale) Fescina. She married Angelo Zine in Hazleton, PA in 1950 and was preceded in death by him in 2010. A brother Joseph D. Fescina also preceded Lucille in death in 2012. She was employed by Philips Lighting, Bath NY as a mount assembler for over 31 years. Lucille was an avid golfer, bowler and card player. She enjoyed spending winters in Myrtle Beach, SC with her husband and abundant friends. She is survived by her sister Irene Stefanovich of Hazleton, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins who will greatly miss her. Lucille leaves behind a myriad of friends whom she cherished along with her family. A calling hour will be on Monday morning, April 28th, from 8:30 to 9:30 am at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 222 Dodge Avenue in Corning where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 am. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Lucille's name to All Saints Parish, 222 Dodge Avenue, Corning, NY 14830 Lucille's family entrusted her care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
