Laraine Audrey Bedient Obituary (1934 - 2015)

Laraine Audrey Bedient, age 80, formerly of Baker Street in Corning, NY died Friday, September 25, 2015 at Corning Centers in Corning, NY. Laraine was born on October 27, 1934 in Corning to Earl and Hazel (Fassett) Bedient. She worked for Woolworths in Corning for over 40 years and at the FoodMart in Corning for 15 years. She enjoyed reading, taking care of her cats, walking, and growing houseplants. She is survived by her son, Shawn (Nancy) Bedient of Savona, NY; sister, Joan Bedient of Rochester; brother, Harry Bedient of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Melissa (Brandon Lundgren) Bedient, Brandon Bedient, and Brison Bedient of Savona, NY; great granddaughter, Marlee Lundgren; and her best friend, Helen Mattison. Laraine was predeceased by her sister, Nora Bedient. Private funeral services will be held at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc. in Corning.
