Judith Reilly

Judith S. Reilly, 55, of Painted Post, NY passed away on March 31, 2022 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center with her family by her side.

She was born on July 2, 1966 in Corning, NY and was the daughter of Roger and Patricia (Gill) Steele.

Judi attended CPP East High School graduating in 1985, attended Nazareth College, then Corning Community College earning an Associate's Degree. She was also Nationally certified as a preschool educator.

On May 25, 2002, she married James Reilly at Saint Mary's Church in Corning.

She worked for Bonnie Helm Begindergarden, A Place to Grow and Once Upon a Time Preschool, Rhinehart Sand & Gravel, and The Fun Park.

Judi loved swimming/floating on "Poppy's Pond" and conversing with anyone who would swim with her. Judi was proud of the gift of gab she was born with, and she loved to use it. She absolutely loved working with her preschool children and entertained everyone with many funny stories of her adventures at the preschool. She had an enchanting smile and addictive laugh.

Judi is survived by her husband, Jim; her son, Cameron; daughter, Sydney Reilly; sisters, Patty (Russell) Ozer, Vicki (Stephen) Rossettie, Mary Ann (Mark) McMillan; and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Patricia Steele, and sister, Kathryn Steele.

There will be a public visitation and celebration of life held on April 8, 2022 from 3:30-6:30PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. 1st Street in Corning. The Celebration of Life will follow with Fr. Matthew Jones of St. Mary's Church officiating.

Memorial donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
