Howard Jerome Gardner, Jr.

Howard Jerome Gardner, Jr., born March 21, 1948 in Queens Borough, New York, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025 in Corning, New York.

He graduated from Garden City High School on Long Island and attended Bucknell University, completing his law degree and passing the bar.

“Howie” was a person with a big heart. He enjoyed playing his guitars and harmonica and sharing his love of music by playing for others. He lived a simple life and did not believe in acquiring many possessions. In his younger years, he enjoyed being active outside in nature, either walking or riding a bike for hours. He loved his daughter very much.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Huntington, and his brother, Robert Gardner.

At Howard's request, a cremation and private burial ceremony was held in lieu of a public service.
