Harvey L. Howe, age 70, of Kingsbury Avenue in Corning, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at South Bay Hospital in Sun City Center, Florida.\n\n\nHarvey was born on May 3, 1944 in Corning to Howard and Luella (Simmons) Howe. He married Frances Giambrone in 1965 and was predeceased by her in 2011. Harvey was an engineer for Norfolk Southern for 40 years and retired in 2006. He was a member of Corning Fish and Game Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, and just this year shot an 80 at Pheasant Hill Country Club in Owego, NY. \n\n\nHarvey is survived by his daughter, Donna (Geoff) Bobrick of Raleigh, NC: son, Russell (Jennifer) Howe of Corning; brother, Howard Howe of Apollo Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Rebecca, Hailey, and Hunter; loving companion, Gail Cook of Big Flats; several nieces and nephews.\n\n\nCalling hours will be Friday, March 6th from 4 - 7 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E.
