Gladys M. Miller, age 87, of Corning died Monday, December 10, 2012, at Corning Hospital.\n\n\nGladys was born on September 22, 1925, in Murfreesboro, TN, to Charlie and Ethel (Travis) Patterson. She married Gerald Miller on January 10, 1945, in Corning and was predeceased by him on July 31, 2002. Gladys was very devoted to her family and her faith. She loved taking care of her family, spending time with them, and making spaghetti on Sundays. She enjoyed reading and was a communicant of All Saints Parish. She worked for Corning Glass Works as an Inspector for many years. \n\n\nShe is survived by three sons: Gerald Miller, Jr., of Tucson, AZ, Carmen Miller of Corning, and James (Danette) Miller of Corning; sister, Marybelle Nelson of Norfolk, VA; one granddaughter, Rachael Miller; and many nieces and nephews. Gladys was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.\n\n\nCalling hours will be Saturday, December 15th from 10 AM until 12 Noon at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street in Corning where funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Corning.\n\n\nThe family will provide flowers and asks that memorial donations be made to Tanners Paws, 4140 College Avenue, Corning, NY 14830.
