Francis "Fran" A. Philip II, 67, of Corning, NY passed away on January 19, 2022 at Guthrie Corning Hospital. Fran was born on April 26, 1954 in Corning and was the son of Francis and Janet (Jones) Philip. He married Teresa Allyn on June 18, 1988 in Corning. Fran was employed at Corning, Inc. He worked for a local construction company before he started his own business, Francis Philip Construction. He was currently employed as a Manager of Building Operations for John Ullman and Associates, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; daughter, Rachelle (Michael) Philip and their children, Jada and Odis, and step-children, Calvin and Logan of Corning; daughter, Tiffany (Eric) Philip and their children, Wyatt and Penelope of Corning; sisters, Cheryl Rowe of Corning and Denise (Brian) Fish of Tioga, PA; brothers, Michael (Lisa) Philip of L'Anse, MI and Charles (Marilyn) Philip of Corning; aunt, Sally Johnson of Florida; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. Fran was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Theresa Miles, and his eldest daughter, Megan Frances Philip. Friends and Family are invited to Fran's Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First St. in Corning with Pastor Simmons officiating.
