Emmett F. Clark, age 62, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.\n\n\nEmmett was born on April 14, 1952 in Corning to Fred and Mary (Fitzgerald) Clark. He was a graduate of Corning Painted Post East High School (1970), worked for Corning Incorporated for 43 years, and retired in 2010 as a mechanical technician.\n\n\nEmmett had been a volunteer fireman for Campbell and North Corning. Following retirement, he decided to drive school bus for Tioga Northern Schools and also volunteered for CASA, Arnot Health on Demand, and the American Red Cross. He loved to go camping, spending time doing yard work, and tried his best to have a green thumb. \n\n\nHe is survived by his fiancee, Bonnie Burns; three sons: Chad (Bridget) Makowiec of Campbell, Chris (Soni Lacey) Clark of Hornell, and Shawn (Sue) Makowiec of Watkins Glen; three sisters: Kathleen (Larry) Ruggles of Wellsboro, Maureen Clark of Painted Post, and Loretta Simpson of Dunmore, PA; grandchildren: Justice Clark, Bryan Makowiec, Colin (CJ) Makowiec, Marrisa Makowiec, Jordan Shea, and Jazmin Shea; great grandson, Maddox Sheahan; life-long friend, Susan Clark of Corning; nieces and nephews: Amy (Tim) Ruggles Smith, Derek (Amanda) Ruggles, Cheryl Simpson and Alexandra Farr; his dogs, Sammy and Zelda.\n\n\nFriends may call on Thursday, February 5th from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 222 Dodge Avenue, Corning where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held following calling hours at 2:00 PM.\n\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to CASA of the Southern Tier, PO Box 788, Corning, NY 14830.\n\n\nEmmett's family entrusted his care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
