Doris E. Graham

Doris E. Graham, age 99, of Corning, died Monday, December 2, 2013 at Corning Hospital.

Doris was born on August 27, 1914 in Greece, NY to Ernest and Maude (Symonds) Fritz. She married Willard Graham in 1950 and was predeceased by him in 1984.

She worked as a waitress at the Carlton Hotel in Corning for many years. She attended the First Baptist Church in Painted Post. Doris enjoyed playing word search, listening to music, and following politics. She loved people and had many friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Jaclyn (Ronald) Hewitt of Bath and Leona (William) Gill of Galeton, PA; son, Ernest Graham of Painted Post; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 7th from 10 until 11 AM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street in Corning where funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM.
