Cody James Thompson, age 21, of Corning, died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at home in Corning.\n\n\nCody was born in Corning and was a graduate of East High and BOCES.\n\n\nCody was and is an amazing boy who would do anything for everyone. He loved to joke around, play cards, dice, and do things like metal festivals with his sisters, Christina and Katrina. He will be forever missed, but never forgotten. \n\n\nHe is survived by his mom, Melody Thompson; sisters: Katrina Thompson, Sierra Thompson, Arron Thompson and Christina Jenkins; a brother, Carter Thompson; girlfriend, Samantha Johnson and step son, Greyson Johnson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family, Aunt Melissa, Uncle Jody and Uncle Keith, Aunt Betty, and Aunt Holly. Cody is also survived by best friends, Zach, Jeremy and Cookie, which were like a second family, and his most recent bond with his little buddies, Donovan and Ethan.\n\n\nA memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street in Corning with Captain Raul Rivera officiating. \n\n.
