Claudia Putman Obituary (1953 - 2016)

Claudia Putman, age 63, of Campbell, NY went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Claudia was born on March 1, 1953 in Suffern, NY. She was a graduate of Campbell High School, Corning Hospital X-Ray School, and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine for ultrasonography. She married Gary Putman on August 18, 1984 in Campbell, NY. She was employed by Corning Hospital / Guthrie Clinic for 36 years and the Bath VA Medical Center for 7 years. Her main interests and hobbies were being outdoors in the woods or at the lake, but more importantly her focus in life was her family. She is survived by her husband Gary; two daughters, Alyssa Putman and Cara (Brandon Smith) Putman; three sisters, Sharon (Mike) Blencowe, Deb (Mike) Camann, and Pam (Dave) Baker; brother, Rob Warn; sister-in-law, Pam (Jerry) McConnell; nieces and nephews, Jen (Tim), Kate (Eric),Jon (Missy), Joel, Jason (Katrina), Sarah (Brad), Nick (Ashley), Caleb, Travis, Landon, Lindsay (Josh), and Stephanie (Brandon); many great nieces and nephews; and her grand-dog, Sookie. Claudia was predeceased by her parents, Bruce and Laura (Austin) Warn. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 15th from 3 - 6 PM at Victory Highway Wesleyan Church, 150 Victory Highway in Painted Post where funeral services will follow at 6:00 PM with Pastor Paul Piraino officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in Campbell. Memorial donations may be made in Claudia's name to the Finger Lakes SPCA, 7315 State Route 54, Bath, NY 14810 or to Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642.
