Clarey J. Hilton Obituary (1937 - 2015)

Clarey J. Hilton, Sr., age 77, of Montour Falls, NY died Monday, March 30, 2015 at Corning Centers in Corning, NY. Clarey was born on October 1, 1937 in Corning to Clifton and Lola (Wolverton) Hilton and was a graduate of Painted Post High School in 1957. Clarey worked for Corning Incorporated in the General Machine Shop as a machinist. He enjoyed playing his accordion. He is survived by his daughter, Bevin (Teddy) Owens of Jamestown, SC; two sons, CJ (Breenna) Hilton, Jr. of Corning, and Harold Schiefen of Elmira; two sisters, Shirley Kohena of Hector, NY and Phyllis Frost of Painted Post; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Hope Cemetery on Park Avenue in Corning. Clarey's family entrusted his care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
