Brittney Clark Obituary (2005 - 2022)

Brittney Rose Clark, age 17 of Campbell, NY passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2022. Brittney and her twin sister were born on February 13, 2005 in Elmira, NY to Eric and Tammy (Farrell) Clark. She was a junior at Campbell Savona Jr./Sr. High School in Campbell. Brittney started the Cosmetology Program at BOCES this year. She felt this was her calling and expressed her unique personality through her various hair colors and piercings over the past couple of years. We never knew what color her hair would be in the morning. She recently started an Internship at Michele's Hair and Nail Studio and was looking forward to pursuing a career helping others express their uniqueness. Brittney had many interests and hobbies such as studying the healing power of crystals, spending time shopping for antiques and vintage clothing at local thrift stores, tending to her many house plants, and saving her mother's plants when she felt she wasn't taking care of them. Brittney had an artistic flair and loved painting and crocheting. She loved her new VW Beetle and enjoyed decorating it with flowers and butterflies. She was an avid gamer and enjoyed spending down time connecting with her friends on Xbox and creating her gardens on Animal Crossing. Brittney was an excellent student who excelled in her classes with very little effort or studying. She was enrolled in ACE courses and loved her Statistics class. She would get higher grades in Statistics than she would any other class; in Middle School she won the award of Mathematician of the year. Over the years, Brittney played various sports including basketball, softball, and soccer. She even went to National's and played for Jay Demong's Softball Team two years in a row. She was planning on playing for the High School Softball team this Spring. She loved listening to Taylor Swift and could always be heard singing along in the shower. She was an animal lover and recently rescued a cat named Willow from the Chemung County SPCA. She is survived by her parents, Eric and Tammy Clark; her twin sister, Donna Clark; grandmother, Sharon Clark; aunts and uncles: Candace Clark, Colleen (Tom) Aldrich, Dominic (Jennifer) Farrell, William (Michelle) Stull, Michael Clark, Steven Clark, and Peggy Funnell; great aunt, Christine Horton; and several cousins. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 6th from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 East First Street in Corning. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with Deacon Brian Mizzoni officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Brittney's memory to the Grief Center of the Southern Tier, 4134 Norman Street, Painted Post, NY 14870.
