Victoria Bonady died peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at her daughter's home with her two children by her side.
She was born on October 14, 1928 in Corning, NY to Joseph and Lillian (Raco) Gramoglia. Victoria was married to Patrick Bonady, who predeceased her in 1983.They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on January 24, 2018.
Victoria graduated from Northside High School in 1946. In the 1950's, she and her husband, Patrick, owned and operated the grocery store, Pat's Trading Post. Later in her life, she worked for Corning Glass Works as an executive secretary, where she retired after 32 years of service.
An important part of Victoria's life, was her winter home of 24 years in Lakeland, Florida. There she was instrumental in organizing the annual Corning Glass Works Retirement Picnic in Lakeland. Her favorite pastime was taking daily walks and riding her bicycle with her sister, Catherine.
She volunteered for the American Red Cross for many years, and she was very involved with all of the community activities at Colonial Square Senior Village in Painted Post, where she resided for the past 5 years.
Victoria was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, Nani, and Big Nani. She was adored by her family for her generosity, strength and independence throughout her life.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Rose Pangallo and JoAnne Haischer. She is survived by her sister, Catherine Celelli of Painted Post; her children, Maureen Vogt(Gary) of Hammondsport, NY and Michael Bonady of Rochester, NY; brother-in-law, Theodore Haischer of Lake Placid, FL; daughter-in-law, Carol (Jared) Krackov of Honeoye Falls, NY; cousin, Kathryn (Richard) Schlote of Fayetteville, NY. Her 5 grandchildren include Christopher Rice of Moseley, VA; Jason (Nelly) Rice of El Puerto de Santa Maria, Cadiz, Spain; Carly (Christopher) Bonady-Schichler of Rochester, NY; Gregory (Christine) Vogt of Monroe, MI; and Amy (Cecilia) Vogt of Buffalo, NY. She is survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the many nurses, aides and friends for their kindness, care and support for their mother over the past year, including CareFirst for their help and guidance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 222 Dodge Ave., Corning, NY at 11 AM on Saturday, January 27, 2018. There will be no public calling hours.

Victoria's family has entrusted her care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
